I’m often asked “What’s your favorite picture you’ve taken?” This is it. Hands down. It is a portrait of my Dad, who worked 45 years with all things metal.  It tells you what you need to know about him. Tough. Hardworking. Honest.

These are qualities he instilled in me. Qualities I try to live by and bring to my work for my clients.

Photographing  people and telling their stories is what I have always done. From my first Photojournalism class at Bowling Green State University to my last assignment. If done well, a carefully lit and composed environmental portrait, a captured moment or a series of photographs can reveal a subject's essence.

I have worked for newspapers, magazines, health care systems, educational institutions, small businesses and large corporations, and I approach each job as an opportunity to create a photograph that will become that client's favorite.
